Is it appropriate to announce your own youtube content on another youtube content provider's web site?  
 
I don't know maybe it is just me, but it appears to be lacking in couth.

People link YouTube content from other YouTubers on their YouTube channels all the time. Also, this is a forum and I think it's perfectly fine to post my YouTube content on forums for people to see. How else can I get my content out to the general public?
