microphone issues

hi i'm running ubuntu 19.10 and im having the issue where my mic sounds like a fan when on teamspeak. my soundcard is a creative soundblaster audiology FX any help would be greatly appreciated

You could try to simply reduce the volume of the device in your audio configuration.

From experience I know that TeamSpeak automatically increases the volume of recording devices to maximum (or at least it used to do that a few years back), which really did not help the audio quality.
