Mint & Future Of Gaming
To my understanding, Mint is not going to support 32 bit in the future but will still support 32 bit for Wine and other gaming purposes. Therefore Linux Mint will not support 32 bit applications unless it is within Wine? Is that correct? Therefore Linux Mint can still be a distro that is used for gaming.
No. Mint will still support 32bit applications even if they are not in wine.
The Ubuntu and running 32 bit packages in the future  EzeeTalk thread has a helpful Ubuntu blog link as follows:

Idea Give a person a fish, and you feed them for a day. Teach a person how to fish, and you feed them for a lifetime. ✝️ Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.  (Linux Mint 19 XFCE)
