Bio: Hi, I am leon from Germay.

I am a linux poweruser and therefore am experienced in the usage of a lot of different applications as well as programming with multiple languages, including Bash, Python, C, Java and others.

I study physics and computer science.
In my freetime I read a lot.
Besides Science, Linux and Free Software, I am also interested in cooking, photography and electronic engineering, although I am definitely not an expert in those fields.

Care about my opinions?

* Free Software is always fundamentaly better than proprietary software, even if the only difference is the license.

* Privacy is important; "Having nothing to hide" is a truely stupid argument.

* Richard Stallman might be weird, but a lot of what he says is true, even if you do not like it.

* Copyright and intelectual property hinder technological and cultural development and therefore should be abolished. Only large companies benefit from them.

* Cross-Compatability is irrelevant, especially if functionality and efficiency have to suffer for its implementation.

* A terminal or shell is the best way for experienced users to interact with their computer.

* Distributions are generally not objectively better than others; Different users prefer different things.

* Bloat and feature creep are serious dangers personal computing is facing.

* "It just works!" has no exact definition, so please don't say somethings like that...

* Dogs are cool.

* Scientific facts, even just scientific theories will always be more important than your feelings and opininions. This of course only applies to true science, not right-wing pseudo-science.

* People, who write "FACT" in all capital letters usually have nothing worth listening to to say.

* No, not everything is political. So please keep your irrelevant comments out of my technical conversation.

* If you can not articulate an argument without using swear-words, either your argument is wrong or your rethorical skills are seriously lacking.

* The developer ows you nothing. You ow the developer nothing.

* Non-local clouds are neither safe nor private. Do not use them.
